For the European Norms, we have combined our heat treatment and coating know how to produce fire resistant glass to meet E & EW ratings upto 60 minutes. Typically applied to steel framed doors, windows, partition, and curtain wall.
Our solutions can be double glazed or further laminated to achieve the desired thermal insulation, acoustic insulation, and even bullet proofing requirements.
Tested in EN 1634-1 and EN 1364-1 standards, our Defendor series offers a proven protection against fire at competitive prices through our manufacturing partners.
With the unique requirements of UL & NFPA standards, we have developed two solutions to address the North American markets: Our heat treated glass solution capable of 20 minutes fire protection and our ceramic glass solution capable of upto 180 minutes of fire protection.
Our Protector 20 series is not suitable for hose stream test application therefore its application is limited to only 20 minutes. To withstand hose stream test following fire endurance test, we offer our ceramic Protector 90 and 180 series. Both are identical glass and are capable to provide protection upto 180 minutes but are different in their fire protection rating based on the code requirements. Our ceramic Protector series is also suitable for vision panels meeting both BS and EN standards upto 240 minutes.
